Everyone needs a safe place to be themselves. This becomes even more important if you are struggling in your life and looking to heal and grow. My priority with everyone I meet is to first hear you, see you, and understand. If you are struggling with not feeling like yourself, feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, angry, lost, confused, manic, or depressed coming to a place where you can bring all that you feel can be a life-altering experiences.
In my practice, being kind, accepting and compassionate come first. From there I guide a session to support you to understand yourself better and build skills. Skill building may include learning meditation and mindfulness, body-based coping skills, or mindfulness based cognitive behavioral exercises. Much of human communication and self-understanding is done at the body level. When we pay attention to the body, or use music, images, clay or colors we can garner a deeper understanding of yourself, your needs and your strengths.
